(MENAFN)An Arab man was found guilty of taking photos of an Arab woman without telling her while she was in a public place with her husband.
The woman will receive 500 riyals as compensation, as The Barka Primary Court fined the man with 1,000 Omani riyals and sentenced him to one year in jail.
The Royal Oman Police took the case as the woman's husband spotted the man snapping pictures and immediately called the cops.
The man was arrested admitting that he thought of sending the pictures to his friends.
