Birla Public School is wearing a festive look and gearing up for the three day annual celebrations of the school, endearingly called ‘Founders' Day' on November 24, while the glitzy festivities will culminate on December 1 and 2.

In a trendy departure from celebrations in the previous years, this time a variety of events are slated to take place in five different venues on the main campus to cater for disparate cultural taste buds to intellectual inclinations to amusements in games to gastronomical fulfilment.

In specially prepared school auditorium, Hemant Kumar Dwivedi, the First Secretary at the embassy of India to Qatar, will inaugurate a unique show where students display their exceptional talents in multiple areas such as special ability in Math, dexterity with limbs, special ability in musical instruments, sketching, magic shows, ‘beat box', tongue twisting language skills, fruit and vegetable carving, singing, Rubik cubes, fidget spinners, etc.

The guest of honour, Dr. Alan Michael Kirwan, Associate Director of Learning and Outreach, National museum of Qata, will inaugurate a series of cultural performances by students from kindergarten to grade 12.

A large number of parents, invitees, guests, community members besides students and staff, numbering approximately ten thousand are expected to visit the school events.

The festivities will start at 3:00 pm and are expected to be concluded about 9:00pm.
