(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- In celebration of Oman's 47th National Day and recognition of the country's tremendous achievements since its founding, Omasco celebrated the day in the presence of the management and staff at all its locations and branches.
Omasco managing director Hussain al Lawati along with senior management spoke to the associates about what the day represents.
As part of the celebrations all Omasco locations and branches were decorated with Oman's flags and other decorations. A photo booth was also part of the initiative organised in celebration of the National Day. Omani halwa and sweets were distributed as part of the celebrations and the day was marked with a quiz competition, based on Oman's rich history, that was held at the Wattayah showroom. Participants had the opportunity of winning exciting prizes.
Lawati said, 'On this occasion, I would like to express my heartfelt congratulations toHis Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, and the government, all Omanis and all those that have worked towards fulfilling national aspirations and hopes.
'As we celebrate National Day, we must remember that we are moving closer each year to fulfilling His Majesty the Sultan's vision for an ever prosperous Oman, a vision that is steadily becoming reality. Through the foresight of this vibrant country's leadership, Oman is on the path to accomplish everything it has set out to. We look forward to seeing the nation continuing on this path of growth.'
