Masraf Al Rayan, held its annual blood donation campaign, in collaboration with the Blood Donation Unit at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), yesterday.
It was held at the bank's head office, as part of Masraf Al Rayan's social responsibility strategy, set to provide HMC's blood bank with the necessary supplies that could be used in saving lives and at the same time in raising awareness of the significance of donating blood among the general public.
Nasser Raeissi, Assistant General Manager, Human Resources and Administration at Masraf Al Rayan, said that the campaign and the level of participation by the bank's employees and customers is remarkable. The participants, from all departments of the bank and customers, expressed satisfaction with the worthwhile cause, as they are being part of this year's campaign and the contribution they are making to alleviate the suffering of many people who may be in need of medical help.
