Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent yesterday a verbal message to the Emir of the fraternal State of Kuwait, H H Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, pertaining to the deep ties between the two countries and prospects of developing them.
H H Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Personal Representative of H H the Emir, conveyed the message as H H Emir of Kuwait met him at Bayan Palace yesterday morning.
At the outset of the meeting, the Personal Representative of H H the Emir conveyed greetings of H H the Emir to the Emir of Kuwait and his wishes of health and wellbeing to him and further wishes of constant progress and growth to the fraternal Kuwaiti people.
In turn, the Emir of Kuwait entrusted the Personal Representative of H H the Emir with his greetings to H H the Emir and his wishes of health and happiness to him and further wishes of more development and prosperity to the Qatari people.
The meeting reviewed means of enhancing and developing ties between the two fraternal countries. It also discussed developments in the region.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah attended the meeting from the Kuwaiti side along with Deputy Minister of the Emiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al Sabah.
Later, the Emir of Kuwait hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of H H Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, and his accompanying delegation at Dar Salwa.
