Former Vice President push for Mugabe immediate resignation


(MENAFN) Ex-Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa has called for President Mugabe's instant resignation. According to him, two weeks ago he had escaped oversees when a scheme to assassinate him came to his attention that made him refrain from coming back until his safety is guaranteed.

Mr. Mnangagwa stated from an anonymous location on Tuesday, that the president ought to take note of the "clarion call" of his citizens and stand down.

In his statement, he insisted "I told the President that I would not return home now until I am satisfied of my personal security, because of the manner and treatment given to me upon being fired."
