Spanish, Palestinian leaders mull over Mideast
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MADRID, Nov 20 (KUNA) -- Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy and visiting Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas discussed in Madrid on Monday the latest Middle East developments.
They also addressed several major issues that concern both sides, mainly the promotion of cooperative relations between Palestine and Spain, according to an official statement.
Inter-Palestinian reconciliation and a possible resumption of Palestinian-Israeli peace negotiations were also considered during the meeting, it added.
Both Spanish and Palestinian foreign ministers were present at the talks.
