Iran's FM, EU's official discuss nuclear deal, regional developments
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) TEHRAN, Nov 20 (KUNA) -- Helga Schmid, Secretary General of European External Action Service (EEAS), held talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in Tehran Monday to discuss the nuclear agreement, and political conditions in the region.
Schmid and Zarif discussed the European Union's (EU) position regarding the importance of full implementation of the Iranian nuclear agreement, official media reported.
They also discussed the situations in Syria, Yemen and Lebanon, and called for political dialogue to address the crises.
Schmid is in Tehran to participate in political consultations with Iran. (end) mw.bs
