Russian, Qatari leaders discuss Mideast, Gulf issues


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MOSCOW, Nov 20 (KUNA) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin and Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim Al-Thani discussed Monday developments in the Middle East and Gulf region, the Kremlin said in a statement.

The two leaders exchanged over the phone views over Syrian crisis in light of victories against terrorist groups that would contribute to political settlement, it added.
