(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 21 (KUNA) -- Ahmadi Governorate will hold its second awareness-entertaining Forum next Thursday.
The forum will includes activities aimed at raising awareness in various fields, including health, environment and agriculture.
The event will take place at (Kuwait Magic) mall in Abu Halifa area in cooperation with official, community and voluntary bodies whom will provide their expertise under the attendance of Al-Ahmadi governor Sheikh Fawaz Al-Khaled Al-Sabah.
The forum, which is part of the project of "my beautiful province," highlights many objectives, Director General of the executive office in the Governorate, and General Coordinator of the Forum Ibrahim Al-Foudari said.
Al-Foudari said in a statement to KUNA that officials in the province are working hard to promote community awareness in agriculture and greening, preserving the environment, human development, health, youth and sports.
They put into consideration the needs of people with disabilities and ways to involve them in society as well as encouraging social responsibility and family tourism.
Al-Foudari noted that the forum brought together more than 20 public and private organizations to raise awareness and entertainment.
He pointed to the participation of the Kuwaiti Heritage Committee, which will present workshops for all Kuwaiti holdings, in addition to the participation of Yousef Al-Kribani Farms, which will distribute about 5,000 free seedlings to all participants.
The event will include medical tests and a blood donation campaign through the Central Blood Bank, as well as sugar testing belonging to Dasman Diabetes Institute, along with popular art shows. (end) sss.tab.nhq
