Heart claims Kuwaiti on road


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Nov 20: A citizen was referred to forensic for autopsy when he suffered a heart attack while driving on the Sixth Ring Road and died. Security sources said the Operations Room received report about the incident and deployed a rescue team to rush to the scene but the man was already dead. Meanwhile, a Moroccan man has been referred to the State Security police for interrogation, reports Al-Anba daily. He was caught taking pictures of the British Embassy premises and during interrogation denied he was aware the building belongs to the British Embassy.

Marijuana seized: Customs officers at the Kuwait International Airport recently foiled the attempt of a Canadian man to smuggle marijuana and 500 narcotic pills into the country, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the Canadian came aboard a flight from Amsterdam and customs officers found the marijuana hidden in green tea bags. The contraband and the suspect have been referred to the authorities.

Two Kuwaitis rescued: Two Kuwaitis were rescued from mid-sea after they sent a distress call to the Operations Room of the Coastguards, reports Al-Rai daily.
