Jeddah, Rabi'I 02, 1439, November 20, 2017, SPA --The Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC), Started today its 33rd Session as senior officials held a preparatory meeting for the Ministerial Meeting to be held on 22 November 2017 in the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Republic of Turkey who is also COMCEC Chairman and the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen along with the relevant ministers of the OIC Member States.
The Assistant Secretary for Economic Affairs Hameed Obelero, reviewed in a report the latest procedures taken by the General Secretariat and institutions working in the economic field since the 32nd Session of the General Assembly of the COMCEC, held in Istanbul, Turkey, in November 2016 in order to follow up the implementation of the OIC Program by 2025.
