Jordan, Palestine seek further investment cooperation

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Nov. 20 (Petra) -- The Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Federation of Palestinian chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture to enhance economic cooperation and promote investment opportunities between the two countries.

Under the MoU, the two sides will devote attention to investing in Jerusalem, as to attract investments and strengthen the steadfastness of Jerusalemites in the face of judaization schemes.

The memo was signed by chairman of the forum Talal Albo, and president of the federation Khalil Rizeq, in the presence of Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yarub Qudah, on the sidelines of the third Silk Road Conference.

Both sides will also seek to develop cooperation, partnerships and commercial agreements to serve both countries' private sector and address obstacles to investment and trade exchange.
