(MENAFN) Consequent to the Texas church shooting that killed twenty-six individuals, The River at Tampa Bay Church warned people who may enter the church with bad intentions, a leader of the congregation posted a photo of the warning on social media.
The sign read "welcome to The River at Tampa Bay Church - right of admission reserved - this is private property, please know this is not a gun free zone - we are heavily armed - any attempt will be dealt with deadly force - yes we are a church and will protect our people" then it was signed "The Pastors."
FOX 13 Tampa was informed by associate Pastor Allen Hawes that the sign has been hanging there for at least a year, however it was finally noticed when Senior Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne shared it on social media.
