Gaia Pope's death treated as 'unexplained'
(MENAFN) Police confirmed that there were no injuries to indicate "any other person was involved" in the death of the nineteen year old Gaia Pope who had been missing for eleven days and discovered dead on Saturday in a field near Swanage.
Until toxicology results appear, Dorset Police is treating the incident as "unexplained." As part of the investigation, three individuals were detained on suspicion of murder but were released under investigation.
Det. Supt. Paul Kessell stated "the post-mortem examination has not identified any injuries to suggest any other person was involved in her death. The cause of death is undetermined, pending toxicology. The coroner is involved in the oversight of these examinations but at this time this remains an investigation into an unexplained death."
