JIAT Spokesman and Legal Advisor Mansour bin Ahmed Al-Mansour also said that regarding the letter of (Panel of Experts on Yemen coordinator), dated (21 November 2016) that the Coalition Forces bombed (Al-Senidar complex) in (Bani Al-Harith) in Sana'a, on (13 September 2016) and on (22 September 2016). Causing the destruction of factories in the complex, no deaths or injuries were documented as result of the attack. JIAT assessed the incident, and after reviewing all the documents, including the procedures, Rules Of Engagement, the Daily Air Mission Schedule, and verified the evidence, JIAT found that during (4-23 September 2016) six ballistic missiles were launched towards Saudi Arabia from northern Sana'a. The Coalition Forces carried out Aerial Surveillance and Reconnaissance Missions on these areas. A convoy consist of three trucks accompanied by an armed military vehicle were spotted and tracked until they entered (Al-Senidar factory complex) located north of Sana'a city. Coalition forces targeted the warehouses inside the complex on (12 September 2016), and were targeted again on (22 September 2016) because of the continues use of the complex in supporting the war effort, which is considered a legitimate military target.
JIAT concludes that the procedures of the Coalition Forces were correct, and in accordance with International Humanitarian Law and its Customary Rules, Al-Mansour added.
