Kuwait- Indian duo held with 14 kilos marijuana

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 19: Customs officers at the Sa'ad Al-Abdullah International Airport have arrested two Indians who arrived from an unidentified GCC country for attempting to smuggle 14 kilos of marijuana into the country, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily added, the drugs were neatly hidden inside a bag. The suspects and the contraband have been referred to the General Department for Drugs Control.

Meanwhile, the Ahmadi police have arrested an Indian, identified only as A. K., for trading in booze and handed him over to the General Department for Drugs and Alcohol Control, reports Al-Anba daily. The man was seized with 6 bottles of whisky.
