Kuwait audit bureau to observe Ernst and Young contract practices in Qatar


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DOHA, Nov 19 (KUMA) -- A delegation from Kuwait State Audit Bureau (SAB) will visit Qatar to learn about the experience of conducting a contract with Ernst and Young Global Limited international bureau for auditing and accounting (EY), said an official Sunday.
The delegation will review Qatar's experience in restructure organizational structures in institutional capacity building, as well as developing a framework for competencies and expertise, SAB's Director General of training and international relations Department Saud Al-Zamanan said.
It will also learn about modern auditing methodologies, risk based audit methodology, risk assessment, business risk, modern methodologies in reviewing capital projects, quality assurance and institutional performance, and a review of the methodology of modern internal auditing and auditing of information technology, he said.
This visit works to meet the goals of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI)' special strategy for years 2017-2011, themed "sharing knowledge and experience in accounting and auditing", he added.
Al-Zamanan stressed on SAB keenness to benefit from many states and remarkable auditory intuitions experiences, which would contribute in developing the supervising field.
SAB actively cooperates with regional, Asian and international supreme audit intuitions and offers many supervisory projects as well as taking part in several professional meetings in the domain. (end) nnd.nbs.lb
