Jordan- King receives UAE defense college delegation

Amman, Nov. 19 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah II on Sunday received a delegation representing the United Arab Emirates (UAE) National Defense College for talks on prospects of mutual cooperation and the latest Mideast developments.
At the meeting, the King highlighted the "longstanding and historic" ties between Jordan and the UAE, and lauded their the advanced levels in the various domains.
The meeting, held at the Al Husseiniya Palace, touched on Mideast crises, and current endeavors aimed to find a political solution to them.
Regional and global anti-terrorism efforts in accordance with a holistic strategy were also discussed.
The visiting delegation hailed Jordan's pivotal role, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah, to serve Arab causes and to realize peace and security in the region.
The meeting was attended by the Royal Court Chief, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Director of His Majesty's Office.
