Qatar- QSE's main index gains 64.52 points

Qatar Stock Exchange's benchmark (QSE) index gained 64.52 points, 0.83 percent, when the bourse closed trading at 7,825.77 points yesterday.
The volume of shares traded decreased to 6.05 million from 6.94 million on Wednesday and the value of shares decreased to QR166.03mfrom QR189.93m on Wednesday.
Out of the 45 companies listed on QSE, shares of 39 saw trading yesterday. Of these 13 gained and 24 companies closed lower, and two remained unchanged yesterday.
Indices of four sectors ended in green and remained three sectors ended in red today. QSE Total Return Index gained 0.83 percent to 13,123.35 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index decreased 0.05 percent to 2,945.48 points and QSE All Share Index added 0.15 percent to 2,136.80 points, reports QNA.
When compared on weekly basis, QSE index lost 59.73 points, or 0.76 percent, last week..
Trading value during last week decreased by 8.40 percent to reach QR818.21m compared to QR893.23m.
Trading volume decreased by 16.13 percent to reach 27.18 millions shares, as against 32.42 million shares, while the number of transactions fell by 9.10 percent, to reach 12,980 transactions as compared to 14,279 transactions.
Market cap fell by 1.37 percent to reach QR420.53bn as compared to QR 426,361,128,945.08 at the end of previous week.
