(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) VIENNA, Nov 17 (KUNA) -- The Austrian Government has welcomed the resolution recently taken by the UNESCO assembly unanimously choosing the city of Graz, provisional capital of Austria's southern state of Styria, as a premises for an organization's human rights center.
The "European Training and Research Centre for Human Rights and Democracy (ETC)" will be the second of its kind in the world next to the one in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the Austrian Foreign Ministry said in a statement Friday.
The Graz center will mainly focus on human rights in Africa and Southeastern Europe. (end) amg.msa
