(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, has offered to take care of two Syrian siblings, whose parents were killed in front of their eyes. Sheikh Humaid heard the heart-breaking story of Reem and her brother Abdul Kareem during his visit to a refugee camp in Jordan on Monday.
The children's parents were killed during the ongoing war in Syria. As a result of the trauma they endured, they were offered special care at the camp. The Ajman Ruler offered to adopt the children and take full responsibility for them by raising them in his palace.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, Sheikh Humaid is seen asking Reem if she would like to live in his palace and the girl happily says yes.
