UAE- Two injured in UAQ accident


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Two people sustained severe injuries in a two-car collision on the Neefa road in Umm Al Quwain.

The central operations room of the UAQ Police, having been alerted of the collision, dispatched traffic police, ambulances, paramedics, firefighters and rescue teams to the site.

Initial enactment of the accident showed that speeding caused the collision informed sources with the civil defence department said.

"The two cars, involved in the accident, caught fire due to the impact of the collision which also injured two people."

Firefighters managed to put out the flames, they added.
