Kazakh Scat company acquires 6 new Boeing airplanes

Kazakh SCAT airline has signed a contract with the American Boeing corporation on purchasing 6 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

"The conclusion of this contract is especially significant for our company, taking into account its 20th anniversary this year. The purchase of Boeing 737 MAX 8 SCAT not only raises the level of service of the company, but also gives a new impetus for the development of the aviation industry of Kazakhstan," said the President of the company Vladimir Denisov, Kazakh media outlets reported.

This deal will expand the airline's route network and provide all its passengers with a new level of air transportation, based on new technical equipment, speed of the flight and many other options.

Each aircraft will have its own special interior. All the planes will be delivered directly from the manufacturing plant of Boeing. The contract also provides the SCAT with right to purchase additional five aircraft of the same type.

The SCAT airline has transported more than 1.6 million passengers since the beginning of the year, which is 46 percent more, compared to the same period of 2016.
