eMoney Advisor announces details about upcoming integration with Schwab, among others scheduled for 2018

(MENAFNEditorial) RADNOR, Pa., Nov.16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --eMoney Advisor (eMoney) today announced plans to add an integration later this year with OpenView Gateway™, the integration platform from Schwab Advisor Services, the largest custodian of independent advisor assets. eMoney also announced new integrations with portfolio rebalancing and performance reporting software provider Envestnet | Tamarac and cloud content management leader Box, which are scheduled to go live in 2018. Once all three are implemented, a total of 20 integrations will be available on eMoney's financial planning platform, enabling its nearly 50,000 users to seamlessly transition between sites, securely access shared data and streamline their planning processes.

"The number of potential integration partners in the marketplace today reflects the growing complexities of an advisor's practice," said Jessica Liberi, senior vice president of product management at eMoney. "We've been working hard to understand the tools and solutions that are most used and valued by our clients, so we can pursue strategic partnerships and integrations that will help our clients be more efficient, productive and successful."

Scheduled for a fourth quarter 2017 launch, eMoney's integration with Schwab OpenView Gateway™ will provide a seamless navigation to Schwab Advisor Center® from the eMoney platform, enabling the thousands of advisors who use both systems to easily oversee their businesses and quickly act on opportunities.

"We are pleased to have eMoney join the Schwab OpenView Gateway program and provide our mutual clients with an efficient, integrated experience," said John Connor, vice president, Schwab Advisor Services Technology Solutions. "The eMoney integration is an example of how Schwab is enhancing the advisor experience through deep integrations with leading technology providers."

More details about the eMoney-Schwab integration will be made available during the Schwab IMPACT 2017 Conference taking place Nov. 15-17 in Chicago. eMoney's Brad Frey, regional sales manager, and Rob Aita, product manager, will offer a demo during a presentation scheduled at 3:45 p.m. CST on Thursday, Nov. 16, in Tech Alley. Attendees can also find out more information at the eMoney booth no. 447.

2018 Integrations
Next year in Q1, eMoney users can expect integrations with Envestnet | Tamarac and Box, which will offer the following functionality:

  • Envestnet |Tamarac – Investors and their advisors benefit from bi-directional, single sign-on access between both the advisor and client portals of eMoney and Tamarac, improving the customer experience and providing investors a more comprehensive view of their financial lives.
  • Box – The Box integration helps comply with FINRA and SEC rules as it meets the criteria required in SEC ruling 17a-4 (also known as WORM – Write Once, Read Many) for broker/dealers. It also enables users to access their Box content from the eMoney Vault, allowing the transfer of sensitive information online without compromising the security of important financial documents.
  • In addition, eMoney announced in April that the firm will integrate with CaptialRock's RightBRIDGE product recommendation software in 2018.

These firms expand eMoney's list of strategic partners. Earlier this year, eMoney also launched integrations with Wealthbox and Black Diamond® and made substantial enhancements to some of its most widely used integrations, including Orion, Riskalyze, Envestnet and Fidelity WealthscapeSM, adding performance reporting, vault integration, support user access and much more.

"eMoney's growing list of high-quality integrations reinforces our commitment to serve as a true technology partner to our clients. We're especially eager to deliver on our promise of remaining custodian agnostic by offering integrations with Fidelity, and now Schwab," Liberi said.
