Saudi- Minister of Interior Chairs Meeting of Supreme Committee for Umrah

Riyadh, Safar 26, 1439, November 15, 2017, SPA -- Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, who is also Chairman of the Hajj Supreme Committee, chaired here today a meeting of the Umrah Supreme Committee in the presence of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region, and the members of the committee.
At the outset of the meeting, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud stressed that the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud seeks to provide all services and care for the pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors to perform their rituals in ease and comfort.
The Minister of Interior has lauded achievements during the previous Hajj season and Umrah, confirming importance of raising services and exerting efforts in this season 1439H.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues pertaining to the Umrah performers and visitors in addition to projects and services provided to the guests of Allah in various fields.
In this regard, they reached a number of recommendations in order to be submitted to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
The meeting was attended by a number of ministers and senior officials.
