(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 15 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) announced Wednesday hosting of the third edition of Kuwait Flow Measurement Technology for Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition.
The three-day event will kick off on November 19 at the Hilton Kuwait Resort in Mangaf area with participation of a number of regional and international oil and gas companies, Ismail Abdullah, Deputy CEO of West Kuwait Directorate at KOC, said in a press statement.
The conference focuses on the practical application of measurement technology, highlighting latest research results on all aspects of flow measurement, Abdullah, also head of the conference's steering committee, noted.
The event represents a unique opportunity to follow-up on latest state of the art flow measurement technologies, he said.
It is also a chance to explore cooperation prospects through such an ideal platform for dialogue and communication with prominent specialists and professionals, Abdullah added.
Meanwhile, the accompanying exhibition will display some the state-of-the-art innovative technologies, in addition to new products and services related to the oil and gas flow measurement, he noted.
For his part, Rashed Al-Marri, chairman of the conference's technical committee, indicated that Kuwait will host the annual event for the third time in row on behalf of the Middle East region.
Some of the notable companies and state institutions taking part in the event are General Electric, Emerson, Krohne, Aramco, KOC, KNPC, Equate, and Kuwait University, added Al-Marri. (end) asj.ht.ma
