Brunei's top lawmaker leaves Kuwait after counterpart talks


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 15 (KUNA) -- Brunei's Legislative Council Speaker Abdul Rahman Taib departed Kuwait on Wednesday after a four-day visit to the country where he met his Kuwaiti counterpart, Marzouq Al-Ghanim.

Taib was seen off at the airport by head of the hosting delegation Majed Al-Mutairi, Kuwait's Ambassador to Brunei Fahad Al-Dhafeeri and Brunei's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kuwait Pengiran Aliuddin.

Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim had held official discussions with his visiting opposite number two days ago. The talks focused boosting bilateral cooperation, coordinating positions on global issues and regional and international developments. (end) ns.sd
