CJ's logistics associate buys Chinese firm

(MENAFN) The logistics arm of South Korea's food and entertainment, CJ Logistics Corp., declared its partner has bought a Chinese firm for 20 billion won, in an attempt to increase its competitiveness in the nearby market.

The company said its Chinese associate Rokin bought Wuhan North Transport International Logistics Co., a national warehouse operator, to guarantee a logistics hub in the area.

As the company has been trying to spread its abroad businesses, it has bought in October Vietnam's leading logistics company, Genadept Corp. worth 100b won.
