Five Airbus C295 aircraft ordered by UAE
(MENAFN) Five Airbus C295 medium transport aircraft have been ordered by the United Arab Emirates Air Force & Air Defense at the Dubai Airshow closing today (November 16).
Underlining the type's market leadership in its class, the agreement takes the C295 order book past 200, Airbus said in a statement.
Replacing the existing CN235s still in operation, the aircraft will serve with the UAE Air Force.
Deliveries will begin in the fourth quarter of 2018.
