Islamic Bank (QIB) has hosted a reward ceremony for the winners of its
‘Win Every Day with QIB Visa Card' and ‘Win Every Week with QIB
MasterCard' campaign final draw.
The event was held at QIB's branch
in the Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Centre
(Fanar) on November 9 in the presence of senior QIB representatives. The
draw had been conducted earlier in the presence of official
representatives from the Ministry of Economy and Commerce and from QIB,
Visa and MasterCard.
The final draw winners included 49 QIB Visa
credit and debit cardholders who made domestic or international
purchases; the winners' names are published on QIB's official website.
All winners spent a minimum of QR500 and won QR5,000 each, which was
credited directly to their accounts, while one lucky grand prize winner
who spent at least QR10,000 received a brand-new Lexus LX 570, 2017.
Commenting
on the Lexus LX 570 win, Salem Sheail said: 'I was aware of QIB's Visa
cards campaign but never imagined that I would win the grand prize. I am
very pleased and excited to try my new car. Thank you, QIB.
Additionally,
winners included eight QIB MasterCard debit cardholders who made
purchases of at least QR500 in Qatar or abroad, and names of the winners
are published on QIB's official website. The winners received QR10,000
each, with one lucky winner receiving the grand prize of QR100,000. All
winners have received their cash prize directly to their account.On the
grand prize win, Asma AlBinali said: 'This was an unexpected but
definitely a pleasant win! I joined QIB back in 1990 and have kept an
eye on their cards campaign. Summer comes with a lot of financial
commitments, so it is nice that the bank has designed a way for its
customers to benefit from that period.

campaign was designed to offer them the chance to win exciting prizes
