Saudi King, Lebanese Patriarch discuss bilateral relations


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Nov 14 (KUNA) -- Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and the visiting Lebanese Patriarch Moran Mor Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi of Antioch and head of the Maronite Church discussed brotherly relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of the role of different religions and cultures in promoting tolerance, renouncing violence, extremism, terrorism, achieving security and peace for the peoples of the region and the world, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The meeting was attended by Saudi Minister of Interior Prince Abdul-Aziz Bin Saud Bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Minister of State and Member of Council of Ministers Dr. Mousaed Al-Aiban, Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir and the Minister of State for Arab Gulf Affairs Thamer Al-Sabhan.
