Purchase deal of 24 CSeries aircraft singed by EgyptAir
(MENAFN) EgyptAir has signed a deal with bombardier to buy 24 CSeries aircraft for a total price of nearly USD2.2 billion from the Canadian aircraft maker, according to a statement made by EgyptAir on Tuesday.
"EgyptAir has signed a letter of intent for 12 CS300 aircraft, and will take options on a further 12", said the statement.
Bombardier and EgyptAir said they hoped to close the deal before the end of 2017, the statement added.
The deal was signed at the ongoing Dubai Airshow.
