Tax bill modifications released by GOP chairman Hatch
(MENAFN) Late Tuesday, adjustments to the Senate tax bill have been published by Orrin Hatch, Senate Finance Committee Chairman. The release includes the successful removal of individual mandate in ObamaCare as well as the termination of tax modifications for individuals after 2025.
A statement was released by Hatch, saying that through repealing the mandate "we not only ease the financial burdens already associated with the mandate, but also generate additional revenue to provide more tax relief to [middle-class] individuals."
Through eliminating the penalty for individuals who lack health insurance, Hatch's "modified mark" ought to fundamentally revoke the individual mandate.
