Qatar- Advisory Council holds meeting, elects Speaker

The Advisory Council held its first regular meeting yesterday during its 46th ordinary session under the chairmanship of the council's oldest member H E Youssuf bin Mohammed Youssuf Al Obaidan.

During the meeting, the council unanimously votedH E Ahmed bin Abdullah Zaid Al Mahmoud, Speaker of the session and H E Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Sulaiti Deputy Speaker.

Nasser bin Rashid Al Kaabi and Rashid bin Hamad Al Maadhadi were elected controllers of the council.

At the outset of the meeting, H E Secretary-General of the Advisory Council, Fahad bin Mubarak Al Khayareen, read out Emiri Decision No. 22 of 2017 that renewed the membership of some Advisory Council members and appointed new members to the council.
