Moroccan king's visit to Qatar successful

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Director of the Government Communications Office HE Sheikh Saif bin Ahmed bin Saif al-Thani said that the official visit of King Mohamed VI of Morocco to Qatar was successful by all standards and it contributed to the deepening of brotherly relations between the two countries.
HE Sheikh Saif expressed his regret over the fabricated picture, which shows the Moroccan king carrying a scarf during a visit to an area in Doha.
He explained that this unacceptable act will not succeed in thwarting the visit. 'An investigation will be conducted to find out who tried to incite public opinion or to offend the symbols of the countries. Unfortunately, media fabrications have occupied a prominent space in some agencies and social networking sites in the past, he added.
King Mohamed left Doha yesterday after an official visit to Qatar. The king and his accompanying delegation were seen off at Hamad International Airport by Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) President HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al-Thani. — QNA
