UAE- A very special way to mark Indian Children's day
Fun activities included 'Make a Puppet' and 'Hit the Spongebob' and each kid was gifted a colouring book. Later, the children wore party hats and had bugle in hands as they cut cake.
Ability Centre manager Hanaa Elsaid said the children were excited in anticipation of the event and all of them will have interesting tales to tell their parents when they go home."From morning itself, I could see their happy reactions, feelings and emotions. The activities were very engaging and children enjoyed every moment of it. I am sure the kids have returned home with happy stories to narrate to their parents," Hanaa said while thanking ILA for making the day extra special for the kids.
ILA president Sunita Wagle said the association has been at the forefront to support and encourage such activities."ILA has continuously supported Ability Centre as part of its social welfare works. We are also very excited to share the joy with them. We gifted them a sound system with microphones, which would enable them to carry out outdoor activities with ease. We look forward to this collaboration in future as well," she said.
ILA general secretary Annu Chouraria said the association has always been proactive in embedding strong social and cultural values within the society. She said special kids do ordinary things in extraordinary way.
