Occupation forces arrest nine Palestinians in West Bank


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces arrested on Tuesday nine Palestinians from different parts of the West Bank.

The Israeli occupation forces arrested three Palestinians from Qabatiya town, south of Jenin after raiding their relatives' homes and tampering with their contents. Three others including a woman were arrested from Idhna town west of Hebron after storming into the town, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA).

The Israeli occupation forces also raided several neighborhoods in Hebron and as-Samu, Yatta and Idhna towns and erected military checkpoints at the entrances of Sa'ir and Halhul towns and at the entrance of the northern city of Hebron. The occupation forces stopped vehicles, searched them and checked the citizens' cards.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces arrested two Palestinians from Tulkarm city and Qaffin town in the north of the city after raiding and searching their houses, while another Palestinian was arrested while he was passing north of Tubas area.
