Saudi Arabia undergoes earthquake of magnitude 2.7 in Namas city


(MENAFN) City of Namas in Saudi Arabia was hit by an earthquake measuring 2.7 on Richter scale in an area located 14 km north of the city, the Saudi Geological Survey (SGS) said through a report by Saudi Press Agency SPA on Friday.

Luckily, the tremor did not cause any life casualty or major damage, according to SGS Director-General Hani Zahran.

The area of Northern Namas city in Saudi Arabia has been through tiny earthquakes before; however, no casualties were recorded each time.
