Renewable collaborations between QSTec, Philippines
(MENAFN) Ways to enhance collaborations in the fields of renewable energy have been recently discussed by officials from member of Qatar Foundation QSTec and the Philippines' Department of Energy (DoE), a report by Gulf Times said.
Dr Khalid Klefeekh al-Hajri Chairman and CEO of QSTec recently met with the Department of Energy secretary Alfonso G Cusi with other officials to confer QSTec's maturation in the energy industry and its integration across the solar value chain and the growing solar energy market in the Philippines, as well as possible collaboration opportunities, the report added.
As the largest polysilicon producer in the region with a manufacturing facility of 8,000 metric tons per annum in Qatar, QSTec is Mena's first integrated solar company.
