Turkmenistan names head of migration service

Mergen Gurdov has been appointed as chairman of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan under a presidential decree.
By another decree, the former head of the State Migration Service, Meylis Nobatov, was dismissed from this post and has been appointed to another position.
The State Migration Service ensures the issuance of visas to foreign citizens and stateless persons, as well as prepares the issuance of passports for Turkmen citizens.
