Saudi Fund for Development Finances Radiotherapy Center Project in Jordan

Amman, Safar 24, 1439, November 13, 2017, SPA --Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Hani Al-Mulki and Saudi Ambassador to Jordan, Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Turki, have inaugurated the establishment of the Radiotherapy Center at the King Abdullah University Hospital in the northern Jordanian town of Irbid financed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the Saudi Fund for Development with an amount of (12) million dollars allocated for establishment and equipment of the center, as part of the Kingdom's contribution to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) grant.
The opening ceremony was attended by a number of Jordanian ministers and officials.
The project aims at providing radiotherapy for cancer patients in the northern governorates of Jordan and it would contribute to providing medical treatment services to citizens.
