DR Congo: 33 people die in train crash


(MENAFN) According to a report by UN radio station Okapi, in the Democratic Republic of Congo thirty-three individuals have died after a train crash incident which occurred in Buyofwe in the province Lualaba, in the south of the country.

The report stated that the train was transporting flammable substance that the train ignited after smashed into a ravine.

The BBC received confirmation from the province's Governor Richard Muyej saying that an accident did occur, however no deaths could be confirmed.
