Kuwait- Almost 1,500 wanted persons, illegals nabbed in huge raids


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Nov 12: Securitymen arrested 531 individuals wanted by law for involvement in various cases and 905 who violated the Residency Law.

In a press statement, the Public Relations and Security Media Department in the Interior Ministry revealed the securitymen established checkpoints in the governorates to track down those who violated the laws of the country.

This resulted in the arrest of the above mentioned individuals. The officers also dealt with 35 persons with different security concerns and arrested 114 involved in drugs and alcohol-related cases. The department added such campaigns will continue round the clock.
