Palestinians injured in clashes with Israeli soldiers near Bethlehem


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, Nov.12 (Petra) -- A number of Palestinian citizens were injured and suffered suffocation, early Sunday, during clashes with Israeli occupation forces in the Dheisheh refugee camp south of the West Bank city of Bethlehem.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said in a statement that the occupation forces broke into several neighborhoods in the camp, adding that clashes erupted between the residents .

During the confrontations, Israeli soldiers fired live and rubber- coated bullets as well as tear gas canisters against the locals, leaving two Palestinian youths injured and many others suffocated , the statement added .
