(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The first edition of Yuva Awards is all set to take place in Qatar, organisers have
announced.
The event will be held at the Asian Town Amphitheatre on November 16.
The Yuva Awards focus on selecting young personalities from various walks of life from India those who have made a difference and inspired the youth. The ceremony will also honour noted personalities from Qatar, according to a statement by the organisers.
The Yuva Awards initiative features an 'innovative concept of awarding people who have stayed away from unhealthy habits and drugs and put sheer hard work and dedication into their professions and fields, by which they are seen as an inspiration by the new generation.
‘Say no to drugs' is the slogan for the campaign, and the winners will receive a cash prize and an award.
The event will have 'hundreds of artistes and celebrity performances, including dance, music, comedy skits, etc.
Film stars such as Dulquer Salmaan, Arya, Shruti Haasan, Manju Warrier, Parvathy, Tovino Thomas, Innocent and Manoj K Jayan, as well as prominent sports personalities such as Sreejesh and P U Chitra, will attend the function, among several others. Performing artistes include Madhu Balakrishnan, Sithara, Baby Shreya, Mia, Shamna Kasim and more.
The show has been conceived by Aplus Media in association with Qbiz Events. Tickets can be obtained online through Q-Tickets.

The show will start at 7pm on November 16, while gates will open
by 4pm.
