Former White House aide offered $15m to remove Muslim cleric


(MENAFN) For the purpose of offering assistance in transporting a Muslim cleric from the United States to Turkey, an ex-aide of the White House was supposedly presented with 15m dollars.

According to NBC News and Wall Street Journal report, Michael Flynn former national security adviser and his son argued about the suspected scheme with Turkish representatives. The affair is thought to be under inspection in the wider Justice Department probe into claims of Russian election interference.

In March 17, James Woolsey former CIA director first disclosed the supposed plot to remove Fethullah Gulen, the Muslim cleric.
