Amman, Nov. 9 (Petra)--Jordan will host a meeting for the political leaders of the Global Coalition working to defeat Daesh in mid November, according to official spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Mohammad Al Kayed.

The meeting will be attended by representatives of 27 countries as well as 4 international organizations.

Al Kayed said the meeting will be held at an important stage that coincides with the positive developments on the war against terrorism in Iraq and Syria, adding that the meeting is a completion of a previous meeting held by the foreign ministers of the international coalition in New York last September on the sidelines of the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly.

Participants will discuss the coalition's efforts to fight Daesh, especially after the liberation of the Iraqi city of Mosul and the Syrian city of Raqqa from the terrorism group.

The International Coalition against Daesh comprises 69 countries in addition to 4 international organizations.
