U.S. Border Patrol struggle with recruitment


(MENAFN) Recent data has been published on Wednesday revealing how the United State Border Patrol is extensively reducing. The data showed that agents are turning to other federal law enforcement and job requirements that the agency is losing a great number of personnel.

The Washington Post reported that based on a survey conducted by a Government Accountability Office, an average of 900 agents are being lost while 523 are being hired annually at Border Patrol.

Border Patrol, according to data, has been struggling with recruitment problems due to a number of motives, including isolated working environment and rivalry with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
