(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The ROP in Buraimi governorate arrested a citizen in Wadi al Jizi for trying to help a an Asian cross the border without proper documents.
1,100kg of tobacco seized from truck in Buraimi
Customs officials in Buraimi seized a truck loaded with 1,100kg of chewing tobacco.
'The driver and his assistant were trying to smuggle chewing tobacco,' said an ROP official.
'The two accused had hidden the large amount of chewing tobacco in a truck,' the official added.
